Credit Card Common Terms

Credit card has many common terms which every user should know. I can remember one day i was in a bank, one woman entered the bank asking the customer services what is her credit card cvv number. Thou is very funny but some people don’t know it. Here in this article i will be  listing and disusing the common credit card terms every card holder who make payment online should know:

1. Card Holders Name: While making payment online using credit card, you will see card holders name. What is needed here is the name of the credit card owner. this is simply the name you used to register for the card.
2. Validity Date: This is the expiring date of the card, which is always in front of the credit card, always with the format such as date/year it depends on how the credit card company structured theirs.
3. MasterCard: This is International credit card company that powers your card. So while making payment online, you should first check whether the place you wana make payment on accepts mastercard, then tick or select that mastercard logo to indicate. because if you tick another card then your payment will not be successful.
4. Visa: This is another credit card company, You have check whether your card is visa card and thick on it before you continue.
5. Verve/Interswitch: Is another type of card you should always indicate and must state clear that your card is verve or interswitch before you continue.
6. CVV: This is the three digit number at the back of the card, This three number is very important while making payment online, as if you put the wrong numbers, you transaction will not be successful.
7. ATM: This is automated teller machine, Which you can as well use to make some transaction such as transfer, withdraw, airtime recharge e.t.c
8. Pin/password: This is a very important term to know, as is very secret. never you reveal it to anybody, keep it safe.
